Will help
develop and manage a new and unique for- profit Internet Art Business and Website created
to promote/sell original high quality contemporary/abstract artworks on the Internet. Will
assist in developing/ managing /marketing/research and administration of this new
commercial art website.
· Will research the Internet and other
sources to identify, evaluate and recruit the best visual contemporary artists nationally
and internationally. Will communicate by phone and e-mail with national/international
artists as well establish relationships with the art buying community including interior
designers, architects and corporate art buyers.
· May involve travel to high-end
regional/national/international contemporary/abstract arts and crafts shows to identify
and recruit new artists and buyers.
· Assist artists in obtaining high
quality digital images.
· Will contribute to providing creative
ways to de-Internet the art buying experience and will provide ongoing management of the
best original art sales/promotion website on the Internet.
· Requires understanding of art promotion
and the art business/ community and good administrative/organizational/writing skills. Must be self-motivated, creative, well organized,
and have excellent communication skills and a good understanding of the Internet. Must have good knowledge of art business and
strong computer/Internet skills. Must be a team player and have a good sense of humor.
Must have a
passion for art and have an entrepreneurial spirit. Prefer art business experience and
educational focus in Art, Technology, Business Administration, Marketing or similar.

Responsibilities:
ü Generate
lists of qualified candidates for current search assignments utilizing: 1) Internet research 2) tele-research
3) internal database 4) library
research 5) relevant directories
ü Identify
and screen Internet professionals , artists and art professionals.
ü Conduct
routine interviews with search consultants to obtain comprehensive understanding of
searches in progress and discuss how to maximize your contribution to these searches
ü Perform
general small office/ administration duties.
ü Help
maintain and update company website and database.
Requirements:
Effective communications, organizational, and administrative skills. Must be creative, self-guided, and resourceful. Effective telephone skills, Internet, library, and
computer skills
College Majors:
Compatible with HR, Communications, Business, Psychology, Organizational, Fine Arts, or
Marketing Majors.
